LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI baseball team will play at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Tuesday at 6 p.m. in non-conference action at The Diamond.

*The Keydets took two of three from visiting UNC Greensboro (UNCG) last weekend at home, the first conference series win for first-year head coach Sam Roberts
*VMI is now 16-13 overall, matching last year's win total already with seven weeks of regular-season baseball left to play

About VCU:
The Rams are 15-13 on the year after winning two of three at home last weekend in an Atlantic 10 series against St. Bonaventure. VCU lit up the scoreboard in the two wins, 23-9 Friday and 13-1 Sunday.

Brandon Eike has a team-best .364 batting average with 10 doubles, seven home runs, 29 runs, 40 RBI and a .636 slugging percentage. Will Carlone gets on base at a .444 clip and has four homers while AJ Mathis hits .324 with an on-base percentage of .459 and team-highs of 37 runs and 11 stolen bases.

Recent History:
These two teams each had road victories against the other last year, with VMI winning 4-1 in Richmond on April 5 and the Rams returning the favor a week later with a 6-4 win in Gray-Minor Stadium.
