LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI baseball team will face a familiar foe Tuesday at 6 p.m. as Norfolk State University visits Gray-Minor Stadium for the fifth meeting between the two teams this season. The Keydets swept a three-game series in Lexington in mid-March, while the Spartans defeated VMI in Norfolk two weeks ago.
The contest is VMI's eighth-straight on Post as part of a 12-game homestand.

Norfolk State dropped a three-game Northeast Conference series at Fairleigh Dickinson this weekend. Dionte Brown has a team-best .331 batting average and 12 stolen bases and has scored 16 runs with 17 RBI. Justin Journette has a team-high six home runs to go along with five doubles, 17 runs and 22 RBI. The Spartans are 8-29 overall and 5-13 in conference play.
