LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Water Polo team will travel once more to New York, where it will close out the regular season with matches against the Metro Atlantic's No. 18 Wagner, No. 25 Long Island and La Salle.
The weekend action will be hosted in Brooklyn by the 25
th-ranked Long Island Sharks.

Scouting Wagner
- A model of consistency this season, Wagner has an overall record of 27-6 and is a perfect 10-0 in MAAC play
- After defeating Marist and Iona this past weekend, goalkeeper Francesa Sena was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week with 17 saves
- Wagner and VMI met earlier this season, with the Seahawks claiming the win on Staten Island
Scouting Long Island
- LIU enters the weekend with a 17-11 overall record and is 7-2 in the strong MAAC
- The sharks are 11-2 in their last 13 matches, with their only two losses coming to nationally-ranked Wagner and Marist (T-25)
- Long Island topped the Keydets by a score of 18-9 when the sides met back in March
Scouting La Salle
- La Salle sits at an even 14-14 on the season, posting a 4-6 record in the conference
- The Explorers enter the weekend having lost two of their last three
- La Salle got the better of the two teams back in March, winning 17-6 in its home pool
