VMI Head Coach James Purpura
"Obviously, it was not the result we wanted. Unfortunately, as a young team these moments are part of the learning process. Growth isn't always linear. We have to find a way to get better starts on the road. We were sloppy as a team with turnovers today and credit to our opponent for capitalizing on those opportunities. With a quick turnaround, we head back home and play another important conference game. We will continue to be humble and hungry for the next opportunity to get back out there."

Up Next
