LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI women's water polo team will compete in four matches this weekend at the Macalester College Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.
The Keydets are slated to face the host school Friday night at 7 p.m., and square off with Augustana (10 a.m.) and Carthage (5 p.m.) Colleges Saturday. VMI will finish off the weekend with McKendree University Sunday at 9 a.m.
Last Time:
VMI opened the 2023 season at home February 4 against Salem University (W. Va.), but fell 16-12 to the Tigers in Clark-King Pool.
Sydney Shettleroe had three goals and three assists to lead the VMI offense and also added three steals.
Sydney Smith posted two goals and three assists in her first collegiate game.
Sadie Smith, also playing in her first college game, compiled two goals and two assists.

VMI is off until a four-game stretch in California March 11-15.
