LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will square off with two non-conference foes Sunday at Franklin & Marshall College, facing Bloomsburg University at 10 a.m. and the host school at 11:30 a.m.

About VMI:
VMI has been off for two weeks due to the Thanksgiving Break, but won both duals on Nov. 19 in a tri-match in Cormack Hall, defeating Limestone University 37-6 and Marymount University 49-0. Sophomore Braxton Lewis, ranked no. 33 at 174 pounds by the College Wrestling Report, earned extra points in both of his victories. He pinned his foe from Limestone in 4:54 and quickly earned a 15-0 technical fall against Marymount in just 1:26. Sophomore Tony Burke won two matches at 125, one by technical fall and one by major decision.  

About Bloomsburg:
The Huskies are 1-1 on the year with a 28-18 win over Sacred Heart and a 45-4 loss against North Carolina State. Bloomsburg had 10 team points at the Navy Classic on Nov. 18. Macon Myers has the team's top record thus far, going 7-5 at 165 pounds.

About F&M:
The Diplomats have not wrestled any dual matches on the year and are also facing Michigan State and Presbyterian College Sunday. F&M finished fifth out of 10 teams at the Keystone Classic on Nov. 19 in Philadelphia. Highlighting the day was the first-ever Keystone Classic Champion for head coach Mike Rogers as James Conway took home the 184 lb. title in sudden victory, while John Crawford also made the finals at 197 lbs.
