LEXINGTON, Va. – Junior
Brennan Watkins delivered a game-high 20 points with five assists to lead the VMI men's basketball team to a 100-63 win over Clarks Summit University Saturday in non-conference play.
VMI scored the first 10 points of the game, but the Defenders tied the game at 18 with 10:48 remaining in the first half. The Keydets went on a 32-3 run just before intermission and held at least a 20-point lead the rest of the way.
The Keydets last reached the century scoring mark on Dec. 7, 2022 against Carlow University (106-67).

Taeshaud Jackson II filled up the box score with 11 points, a game-high 13 rebounds, five assists and two steals. It is the sophomore's second double double of the season and the seventh of his career. Jackson has grabbed double-digit boards in six of seven games this season and averages 10.5 per contest this year
