LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will host a tri-match Sunday in Cormack Hall, welcoming Limestone and Marymount Universities. The Keydets will square off with Limestone at 2 p.m. and Marymount at 5 p.m., with the two visiting schools competing against each other at 3:30 p.m.

Braxton Lewis is ranked no. 33 this week at 174 pounds by the College Wrestling Report. He won by technical fall Sunday (18-1) against Morgan State, while
Josh Yost had a 12-1 major decision victory at 157. Lewis also battled two top 30 wrestlers tough on the day. He lost just 4-2 to no. 22 Luca Augustine of Pitt and 8-5 in the sudden victory session to Navy's no. 30 Danny Wask.

Dyson Dunham each won by decision against Morgan State.
About Limestone:
Limestone University took down visiting Lincoln Memorial 34-10 on Wednesday afternoon in a home match. Junior Garrett Starks picked up a pin in the opening seconds of the 174 lb. weight class and a graduate JaQuez Bostic left no doubt in the 184 lb. match, winning 18-5 major decision.
About Marymount:
Rylan Moose had a big weekend as Marymount competed in a dual against Averett on Saturday before wrestling in the Averett Cougar Open on Sunday.
In the dual, Moose beat a two-time All-American in an exciting 4-2 decision. On Sunday, he earned bonus points in all four victories to win his second title in as many weeks. He now sits at 9-0 on the season. Also reaching the placement round was Mateo Hernandez (4-2, 149 lbs.) and Dylan Coward (3-2, 125 pounds).
