LEXINGTON, Va. – The red team defeated the black team 25-15 Thursday night in the annual VMI wrestling intrasquad scrimmage, held in New Barracks on the VMI post. 

Highlights:
*Freshman Patrick Jordon and junior River Carroll scored pins for the Red Team at 141 and 184 pounds, respectively
*Sophomore Braxton Lewis (Black Team) had a 17-0 major decision victory at 174
*Josh Yost (Black Team) won via major decision at 157 pounds, 15-5
*Luke Hart (Red Team) also had a major decision victory, 10-0, at 165
*The bout at 133 pounds went to overtime, with Wayne Rold of the Red Team scoring a takedown in the extra session to outlast Dyson Dunham 4-1
