LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men's basketball team rallied to make it a one-possession game with three minutes to play but could get no closer as Mercer University posted a 69-61 Southern Conference victory in Cameron Hall.
The Bears opened a 12-point lead (63-51) with under five minutes to play but the Keydets scratched back into the game with a 9-0 run over the next two minutes. Mercer made it's last four free throws to seal the win.

Asher Woods corralled a career-best 11 rebounds, which was also a game-high

*Mercer forced 18 turnovers while only committing seven
