LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team travels to New York this weekend for three non-conference matches.

The Keydets square off with Clarion University Saturday at 11 a.m. at Long Island University and wrestle LIU at 3 p.m. VMI will make the short trek north to face Sacred Heart University Sunday at 2 p.m. in a match moved up from 4 p.m.

Junior Tyler Mousaw and freshman Braxton Lewis scored extra-point victories against Chattanooga Friday and several other Keydets came close to wins, but the Keydets fell to UTC 30-9 in recent action.
