WASHINGTON, D.C. – A huge rally from the VMI men's soccer team fell just short Sunday as Howard University held on for a 4-3 non-conference win in Greene Stadium.
The Bison led 4-1 with just 11:20 on the game clock, but goals from
Rider Holcomb and
Woongchan Oh over the next four minutes cut the advantage to only one.

Nathan Lam and
Tate Pospichal had assists
*Mooney's goal two minutes after halftime tied the game at one
