LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI baseball team will travel to UNC-Wilmington this weekend for a three-game non-conference series at Brooks Field. Game times are set for 6 p.m. Friday, 4 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
It is the Keydets final non-conference weekend series of the 2022 season, as Southern Conference play opens next weekend with a trip to Samford University.
The Keydet offense averaged 6.4 runs per game in 18 March games. Red-shirt sophomore
Justin Starke hit a team-best .431 in the month, blasting five home runs. Red-shirt junior outfielder
Will Knight hit .395 in March with 14 runs scored and six doubles.

UNC-Wilmington is 13-11 on the year, falling 6-4 to 18
th-ranked North Carolina Tuesday. The Seahawks are 11-5 at home, which includes taking three of four from visiting Ohio State March 17-20.
