LEXINGTON, Va. - Junior
Devin Butler nailed seven three-pointers and scored a career-high 25 points Wednesday evening to lead the VMI men's basketball team to a 106-67 win over Carlow University in Cameron Hall.
The visiting Celtics kept the game close until the final minutes of the first half. The Keydets closed out the period with a 16-4 run to enter intermission ahead 51-34. The advantage soon was extended to 32 points after VMI outscored the Celtics 26-11 over the first nine minutes of the second half.
