LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team continued its hot start to the 2022-23 season Sunday, sweeping Franklin & Marshall College 24-15 and Duke University 28-9 in Cormack Hall.
The Keydets improve to 3-0 on the year, the program's best start since in 26 years.

Braxton Lewis had two decisive wins on the day at 165, one a technical fall and the second via pin

Jon Hoover won two tight matches at 174, including a 3-1 victory over his Duke foe with a takedown in the final 15 seconds to avoid overtime

Zach Brown also won twice Sunday with a pin in just 2:50 over his opponent from Franklin & Marshall at 184

Job Chishko won both of his matches at 157, one by major decision
*Freshman
Ryan Vigil won one match on the day and was defeated in the sudden victory session against Duke
