LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men's soccer team travel to Northern Kentucky University Tuesday for a non-conference clash. This is the first-ever matchup between the Keydets and the Norse in men's soccer.

The Keydets are coming off a good week defensively, allowing just two goals in 180 minutes of action against Longwood University and Presbyterian College, but VMI couldn't find the back of the net. Broden Schull made 11 saves in the two contests.

Northern Kentucky is 1-2 on the season, defeating Centre College 3-0 at home and losing 3-2 at UNC-Asheville and 2-1 at Oral Roberts. Dylan Bufton and Jesse Randall each had two goals and an assist on the year. NKU is the reigning Horizon League regular-season champion.

The Keydets are back on the road Saturday, traveling to Gardner-Webb University for a 4 p.m. kickoff.
