Biography

2021: Led NCAA Division I for the third-straight season with 99 saves … played every minute of every game for the third-straight year as well … made a season-best 11 stops in a 3-3 tie against UNC-Asheville on October 23 … ends his stellar VMI tenure with program career records of 420 saves and 5728 minutes.

2020-21: Started all 11 games as goalkeeper and captain of the team…tallied 82 saves over the season, including a career record 17 saves against ETSU…moved into second all-time for VMI career saves, bringing his total to 321 in his career…became second all-time for minutes played in a career with 4,100 …led the SoCon in saves and saves per game at 7.45…top five in career saves all-time in the SoCon.

2019: Ranked first in NCAA Division I men’s soccer with 6.88 saves per game and in total saves … made 118 saves on the year, just off the program top five single-season list … ranks third already on the career VMI save rankings (239) after only two seasons … played all 1,520 minutes in net … made double-digit saves in three games, against Longwood, Liberty and NJIT … posted his first career shutout in a 4-0 win over Regent University on Oct. 1. 

2018: Earned Southern Conference Men’s Soccer All-Freshman honors ... led all of Division I in saves and saves per game … posted 121 saves on the year, starting all 18 contests ... had a 68.4 save percentage and made 6.72 saves per outing … his 121 stops rank fifth all-time in season-season school history … made nine saves in three-straight games, against Mercer, ETSU and Furman … stopped a season-high 13 shots against UNCG … made seven saves in VMI’s 4-1 win over Regent … stopped 10 shots at home against Longwood in his first collegiate game.

Club Team: Portland Timbers Academy (USSF)

High School/Personal: Prepped at Westview HS in Beaverton, Oregon … starting goalkeeper as a freshman and senior … as a senior only allowed eight goals all season … helped team to a 17-1-1 record as the Oregon 6A state champions … as a freshman in 2014 named Second Team All-Metro League … as a senior named 6A Goalkeeper of the Year, First Team All-State and First Team All-Metro … also played club soccer for the Portland Timbers where he started 29 of 33 games at goal … made Honor Roll for three years and named to school’s All-Star Academic team...the son of Kord and Jill...plans to major in civil engineering.
