VMI Baseball Recruiting Class Includes 17 New Faces
 
LEXINGTON, Va. - The VMI baseball coaching staff announced its 2021-22 recruiting class on Tuesday with 17 newcomers joining the program.
 
"We are excited to welcome our incoming class of 2025 to our baseball program!" said head coach Jonathan Hadra. "The recruiting limitations implemented by the NCAA, due to COVID, prevented us from seeing many of these players play in person.  We had to rely on live streamed events, coaches' recommendations, Zoom meetings, video clips, and countless phone calls in order to make sure that we found the right type of young man to add to our program and school. 
 
"At the end of it all, I believe the hours spent by Coach Sam Roberts and Coach Ray Noe has paid off with an outstanding incoming class. This class will provide positional depth as well as some young arms that will compete for innings right away.  We believe that this class will integrate into the Corps as contributing members of the Institute and will only help build on what our young team was able to accomplish last season.
 
"We, as a staff, are ready to get these players on Post and begin working with them."
