LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI baseball team has a busy weekend ahead, with two home games against Virginia Commonwealth University and a road contest at the University of Richmond Saturday.
The Keydets host VCU Friday and Sunday at 3 p.m. in Gray-Minor Stadium, with Friday's game broadcast on ESPN+. The first pitch of Saturday's game at Richmond is set for 11 a.m.

Justin Starke has started the year with a .462 average, a .650 on base percentage and a .692 slugging percentage with seven walks, three runs and two RBI. Freshman

Cole Garrett hit his first collegiate home run at VCU Tuesday. Red-shirt junior
Callen Nuccio had four hits Tuesday at VCU to move his batting average for the season up to .368.
VCU (2-5) hosts Central Michigan University Saturday at 2 p.m. in between its games against VMI this weekend. Jack Schroeder hit two home runs Tuesday to bring the Rams back for a 10-8 victory.
Richmond is 4-0 on the young season, sweeping a four-game series with Mount St. Mary's University (Md.) to open the year. The Spiders travel to George Mason University Friday and host Central Michigan University Monday.
