LEXINGTON, Va. – After a week in which the Keydets faced Virginia Commonwealth University three times, the VMI baseball team is scheduled to do the same with James Madison University this week.
The Keydets travel to Harrisonburg Thursday at 3 p.m. and host the Dukes Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. in Gray-Minor Stadium.
Fans will be allowed at the VMI home games, but a facemask is required.

Several Keydets had good weeks at the plate in the team's four contests. Red-shirt junior
Cody Warner hit .462 with four walks for a .588 on base percentage for the week. Red-shirt sophomore
Justin Nase hit .400 in three starts in centerfield, posting a .500 on base percentage, a triple, two runs and two RBI. Red-shirt junior second baseman
Callen Nuccio hit .389 with six RBI and three runs scored. Freshman backstop
Cole Garrett hit .333 in three starts and homered and scored three times.

Trey Morgan got the start on the hill Sunday against the powerful VCU offense and allowed just one run in his 3 1/3 innings, striking out three.
JMU is 1-5 on the season, opening the season with three losses at powerhouse North Carolina and dropped two of three this weekend at home against Bowling Green University. Carson Bell paces the Dukes with a .429 average and five RBI with three runs scored. JMU is coached by longtime VMI head mentor
