LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team held its annual intrasquad scrimmage Thursday night with some extra incentive, held in New Barracks on Post.
 
Each team had five winners. The Red team's Zach Brown scored the only pin of the night, and Job Chishko had a win by technical fall, 17-1. Jake Waldron and Cameron Chicella had major decision victories while Stone Summers won by default.
 
Josh Evans won his match by a major decision for the Black Team while Sam Congleton, Freddy Junko, Noah Roulo and Jon Hoover each also posted victories.


The Keydets will open the 2021-22 season next Sunday, November 7 at the Southeast Open in Roanoke.
