Keydet Football Ready For “Fall Ball” Practice Period

LEXINGTON, Va.- The VMI football team will rachet up the fall practice schedule beginning Tuesday, October 13.

"Fall Ball", permitted under recent NCAA guidelines for college football programs planning to compete in the spring, resembles the traditional football "spring practice" period usually held at VMI in April and early May. Fifteen practice sessions will be conducted running from mid-October until November 14. The drills will wind up with a Red-White scrimmage scheduled for Saturday, November 14 at Foster Stadium.

Below is the Fall Ball practice schedule. All practices unless noted will be held at Fiorini Field and are subject to change.

Saturday, October 17 – 1:30 pm
Tuesday, October 20 – 4:45 pm
Thursday, October 22 – 4:45 pm
Saturday, October 24 – 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, October 31 – 1:30 pm (Scrimmage – Foster Stadium)
