#18 Wagner Defeats VMI Water Polo 21-3

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The 18th-ranked Wagner College women's water polo team defeated VMI Sunday 21-3 in the regular-season finale for both teams. Wagner clinched the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regular-season title and the tournament's #1 seed, while the Keydets will enter the tourney as the #4 seed.

Wagner, the five-time defending MAAC champions, scored the game's first seven goals and never looked back. VMI red-shirt freshman McKenna Imset scored all three Keydet goals and Sarah Dolitsky had an assist. Emma Noble had three steals and four drawn exclusions.

VMI (16-12/6-8 MAAC), finished the regular-season fourth in the eight-team conference and advance to the MAAC Tournament for the third-straight season.The post-season tournament will hosted by Marist in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. April 27-28.
