LEXINGTON, Va. -- Originally scheduled for a 5:15 p.m. game this evening against Salem International University, the Virginia Military Institute women's water polo team has received a forfeit, as the Tigers cancelled the remainder of their season.

This is the second time this season the Tigers have forfeited to the Keydets, who are now 4-0 all-time against Salem International.

VMI's season finale will be on Saturday as the Keydets head to the nation's capital for a clash with George Washington University. Game time is slated for p.m. at the Smith Center Pool in Washington, D.C.The Keydets will be looking to exact revenge against the Colonials, who beat VMI 11-4 at Princeton University earlier this season.
