VMI Swimming Falls to College of Charleston, 134-89

Radford, Va. - The VMI Swimming team lost to the College of Charleston Saturday afternoon,
134-89, at Dedmon Center Pool in Radford, Va.

The Keydets (2-3) did not win an individual event, but freshman Braden Orr (Pennington, N.J./ Hopewell Valley) posted a second place finish in the 50-yard freestyle race with a time of 23.53 seconds.

Freshman Kevin Vik (Eagle River, Alaska/ Chingiak) also posted a second place finish for the Keydets with a time of 34.06 seconds in the 400-yard individual medley.

Junior Jim Driggs (Mechanicsville, Va. / Atlee) swam the 100-yard freestyle in 24.88 seconds, which was also good for a second place finish.

VMI travels to Washington, D.C. on Saturday to battle Catholic University.
