Jackson enters her first season as an undergraduate assistant coach after having her playing career cut short due to injuries. The Gilroy, California native was an important piece of VMI’s attack from 2013-15 as she totaled 110 goals over the three seasons, including 61 as a freshman and 40 as a sophomore.

An excellent member of the VMI community both as a student and her involvement with the water polo program, Jackson was given the United Daughters of Confederacy's Sir Moses Ezekiel Award, given to a cadet who has contributed to the cultural life of the Institute.

Her 61 goals as a freshman in 2013 was second best on the team and tied for third most goals scored in a single season in program history. During the run she scored in eight straight games and was twice named the MAAC Rookie of the Week.

As a junior in 2015, Jackson played in only eight games and scored nine goals on 19 shots before sustaining a season-ending injury.

Prior to VMI, Jackson was a standout water polo athlete at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California.

She will graduate in May 2016 with degrees in international studies and English.
