Reggie Reynolds

A veteran of Big South baseball, Reggie Reynolds enters his first season on the Keydet coaching staff after serving as an assistant for five years at his alma mater, Liberty.

Reynolds began his coaching career as a graduate assistant with the Flames, then served as a volunteer assistant with the program for four seasons before being elevated to full-time assistant prior to last season. During his coaching career, Reynolds helped the Flames to a pair of appearances in the Big South Championship Final while tutoring five all-conference selections and seven MLB draft picks.

Before moving onto the coaching staff, Reynolds served as a graduate assistant for baseball operations for three seasons, including the 2000 team that won the Big South title and advanced to the Columbia Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

As a player, Reynolds began his collegiate career at The Citadel before transferring to Liberty after one season. He was a member of the 1998 Big South Champions, advancing to the Tallahassee Regional that season.

A native of Greenville, S.C., Reynolds is a 1998 graduate of Liberty with a degree in Accounting and earned his masters degree in education from Liberty in 2004. He and his wife, Katie, reside in Lynchburg with their son, Ryan (2).
