Madyson Hawley

Madyson Hawley enters her first year as a seasonal athletic trainer at the Institute.
 
She comes to VMI from Davidson College where she served as an athletic trainer for the football and women’s basketball teams since August 2020.
 
Her second time at VMI, Hawley previously served as a seasonal athletic trainer from August 2019 to February 2020 for the men’s soccer, lacrosse and baseball programs.
 
During the 2018-19 school year while a student at Western Carolina University, she worked as an athletic trainer at Asheville School in Asheville, North Carolina, and at Franklin High School in Franklin, North Carolina.
 
Certified in CPR and AED by the American Heart Association, Hawley is licensed in the state of Kentucky and is a member of the National Athletic Training Association and the South Carolina Athletic Training Association.
 
She has attended continuing education seminars on multiple occasions, including the NCATA Annual Symposium in 2018 and 2019 and the Pardee Sports Medicine Symposium in 2018.
 
Since 2015, Hawley has also served as a camp instructor and head swim instructor at Kiawah Island Club in South Carolina.
 
Hawley earned her bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Western Carolina in May of 2021.
