Richard Vierling was hired in August 2022 as the assistant director of Academic Services and Compliance and was promoted to Director of Compliance in July 2023.
Vierling earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Law in May 2022. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Parks, Recreation and Sport from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2018. He had a sport management emphasis with a business minor and served as the manager for the women’s softball team.
Vierling’s work experience includes serving as a legal intern with the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) in Kansas City. He also worked with Top Golf in the golf services area, the Kansas City T-Bones Baseball Club as a corporate sales intern and the Medford Rogues Baseball Club as the Game Director and Business Operations Coordinator.
