Elizabeth I. LeRose begins her seventh year at the Institute, having recently been promoted to Senior Women’s Administrator. LeRose, formerly Igo, will assist with Academic Advising, while also continuing to work in Game Management for the Athletic Department.
During her previous years at VMI, LeRose handled game management supervisory duties, as well as other tasks related to facilities on post. She has also helped coordinate two conference championships, and assisted in the installation of a new online ticketing system.
LeRose, who grew up in Wilmington, Del., came to Lexington to attend school at Washington & Lee. While at W&L, she was a four-year letterwinner on the Generals basketball team, and served as team captain for her senior season. She graduated with a degree in Sociology in the Spring of 2003.
After graduation, LeRose attended graduate school at VCU in Richmond, Va. where she received a Masters of Science in Sports Leadership. While at VCU, she also served as a graduate assistant for the Richmond women’s basketball team.
In July 2012, she married Garrett LeRose, an assistant football coach at Washington & Lee and fellow former Generals student-athlete.
