Horne was hired in November of 2023.
Hailing from Bedford, Virginia, Horne pursued his higher education at Emory & Henry University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Businiess Admisitratio and Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management. While at Emory & Henry, Horne balanced life as a student athlete as a member of the men's soccer program.
In his role as the NCAA Director of Compliance at VMI, Horne is responsible for ensuring that the Institute's athletic programs adhere to NCAA regulations, providing guidance and support to student-athletes while fostering a culture of integrity within the athletic department.
