2010-11: Went 7-15 as VMI’s starter at 133 lbs. … Collected a 4-9 record in dual matches and was 1-4 in SoCon bouts … Earned one pin and added a major fall on the year … Went 2-1 at NC State Wolfpack Open (11/14) with a 14-0 major decision over The Citadel’s John Hellinger and a 4-2 decision over Gardner-Webb’s Mike Slaughter … Pinfall came against Doug Ricketts at All-Academy Championship (2/6) at the 2:14 mark of the bout.

2009-10: Competed exclusively at 133 lbs for the Keydets as a sophomore … Was 6-16 on the season, and had a 4-9 tournament record … Tied for third on team with two pins, coming against Mike Piccirillo of Brown (11/22) and Kaison Tanabe of Williams (12/28) … Earned major decision over John Dasilva of Norwich at All-Academy Championships (2/6).

2008-09: Wrestled nine matches at 141 lbs. in his freshman season ... Scored a major decision in VMI's dual against Duke, defeating Nick Adamo 18-5 ... Also competed at the King College Open, the Hokie Open, the Davidson Open and the "Shorty" Hitchcock Memorial Classic.

High School: Four-year letterwinner at 135 lbs. at New Kent under head coach Mike Faus ... Placed sixth at the AA State Championships ... Just the fourth wrestler in school history to break the 100 career wins plateau, going 117-36 ... Team captain ... Region I Champion senior season.
