2012-13: Wrestled his freshman season at 141 pounds … went 1-4 on the year … won his first college match with a 7-3 decision at The Citadel Open.

High School: Was a three-year letter winner for Colin Anderson at The Covenant School in Charlottesville, Va. … wrestled at 132 and 138 pounds … finished as the VISAA state runner-up … was a national prep qualifier twice … was the VIC Champion and twice took fifth place at the VISAA state tournament … set a school record for most pins in a single season (26) … was also a member of the Young Warriors Wrestling Academy.

Personal: Full name is Josiah Spiros Zodhiates … son of Philip and Kathie Zodhiates … has five siblings, William, Victoria, Rebekah, Joseph and Jonathan … plans to major in Arabic at VMI.
