2023-24: Recorded six wins at 157 pounds…tallied five dual victories.

2022-23: (Junior)

  • Earned the program’s Coach’s Award, an award that exemplifies what a coach looks for in an individual: Work Ethic, Dedication, Leadership, and a Positive Attitude.
  • Finished the year with a 10-8 record splitting time between 149 and 157 pounds
  • Recorded four pins and one major decision
  • Took fourth in his pool at 149 pounds at the Journeymen Classic Nov. 13


2020-21: Competed in seven matches at 149 pounds…had one major decision, one decision and three wins by technical fall…won three matches in a row halfway through the season ... earned the team's Most Improved Wrestler Award. 

2019-20: Competed in eight matches as a freshman at 149 pounds.  

High School: A member of the Benedictine College Preparatory wrestling team for four seasons … had 160 career wins and was a state champion … a Prep National All-American all four years … brother David Yost ‘12 wrestled at VMI and was his head coach at Benedictine as a senior … a member of Virginia Team Predator.
