Tom Sleigh began serving as a volunteer assistant for the VMI wrestling team in late January. The DuBois, Pa. native was a four-time NCAA qualifier, finishing his career at Virginia Tech, after three years at Bucknell University. He went 23-8 as a red-shirt senior in 2018-19 as a Hokie. Â
He was a three-time EIWA place-winner (2nd in 2017, 5th in 2015, 7th in 2016) at Bucknell and a two-time EIWA All-Academic honoree. He left Bucknell with the 12th most wins in program history and a record of 89-36. Sleigh earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Bucknell.
