VMI Athletics

Coach Jim Greiner finished his third season as a volunteer supporting the Keydet wrestling program in 2020-21.  A native of Toledo, Ohio, Greiner wrestled for Sylvania High School then went on to Miami of Ohio where he was a Mid American Conference champion.  He earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Health and Physical Education.  He was a teacher, coach and athletic director for eight years, followed by a long career in computer technology sales in Washington DC.  “Coach Jim” is now an adjunct instructor for the VMI department of physical education.
