Biography

At VMI: Also a member of the Keydets' swimming and diving team ... competes in freestyle and IM events ... transferred to VMI from Golden West Community College in Huntington Beach, Calif.

2013: Did not see time in the pool … held onto final year of eligibility.

2012: Served as a team co-captain with senior Sam Farr … named to All-MAAC second team following the season ... finished her first campaign at VMI as the team’s second-leading scorer, putting away 61 goals … found the back of the net in 20 of the squad’s 25 games … never had consecutive games without a goal … poured in six goals during the Keydets’ first-ever game against Salem International  (2/21) … had a hat trick in 10 games … scored at least one goal in six consecutive games (3/31-4/9) … named MAAC Rookie of the Week on Apr. 10 … tallied the team’s first-ever goal just 23 seconds into the program opener against Salem International (2/21) … also scored program’s fastest goal 10 seconds into the second Salem International game (4/9).

At Golden West Community College: played water polo from 2009-10 before transferring to VMI … named First-Team All Conference, Second Team All-SoCal and First Team All-State in 2009 … earned first team All-Conference, First Team All-SoCal and All-American honors last season … was team’s captain in 2010.

High School: Highly decorated water polo player at Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, Calif. … named First-Team All-League as a center … earned Second team All-CIF honors and was named MVP … served as a varsity captain … also a member of the Pacifica swim team, competing in the 200 IM, the 50 and 100 freestyle from 2007-09 … swim team captain in 2009 … member of the Los Alamitos Water Polo Club … named Mariner of the Year at Pacifica … served as senior class president … earned history honors.
