2009-10: Set a new VMI heptathlon record at the Big South Outdoor Championships, finishing eighth with 3,894 points...performance was fueled by several individual event personal bests, including a 5.51 meter (18'1") long jump, bettering her previous PR by nearly six inches...was sixth in the pentathlon during the indoor season as well, with a personal best effort of 2,910...also had strong performances in several open long jumps, including the Liberty Collegiate Invitational, where her 5.36 meter (17'7") effort landed her fourth...was seventh in the long jump at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier, jumping 5.39 M (17'8 1/4")...will be one of the captains of the 2011 team.
2008-09: Posted a lifetime best long jump at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier, finishing second with her 5.40 M leap...began to move into the multi events during the season, particularly the heptathlon during the outdoor season, where she gained valuable experience...also posted a personal best triple jump, with a 10.63 M effort at the Big South Indoor meet...placed 14th in the long jump at April's UVA invite...cleared a lifetime best high jump, 1.50 M during the indoor season...made the Big South All-Academic team for outdoor track, as well as the BSC Presidential Honor Roll.
2007-08: Was Keydets' top jumper for much of the season...participated in high jump, triple jump and long jump during the indoor season, including a 5.15 M long jump at the VMI Winter Relays in early February...focused on the long jump during the outdoor campaign, with a best effort of 5.14 M at South Carolina on March 28.
High School: 2006
Virginia Independent School (VIS) State Outdoor Champion in both the
long jump (18' 2-¼”) and the triple jump (36' 7-¼”)...holds a personal
record of 5 feet in the high jump...collected three state championships
in the long jump, and a pair of state championship titles in the triple
jump....selected as the State of Virginia Independent School MVP in
2006.
