2014-15: School record holder in the hammer throw finished fourth in that event at the conference meet...was also seventh in the shot and ninth in the discus, in addition to participating the javelin...had a seasonal best of 52.70 meters (172'10") at the HPU Vertklasse meet...finished second at the App State Open...ECAC qualifier, but opted not to attend in order to walk at graduation...redshirted the indoor season.
2013-14: Redshirted the outdoor season...indoor season saw her set a new personal best in the weight throw (17.16 M/56'3") and finish fifth in the conference...qualified to the ECAC Championships for the first time in that event...finished eighth in the weight at the Liberty Quad...was fourth at the Great Dane Classic...intends to return for a fifth year in 2014-15.
2012-13: Season was highlighted by her fourth-place finish in the hammer throw at the Big South Outdoor Championships...posted a school record toss (53.43 M/175'3") in that event, breaking the old mark - which had stood since 2007 - by some 12 feet...also qualified for the ECAC Championships, where she broken 50 meters once again (50.60 M/166'0") and finished 17th...ninth in the discus at the conference meet...placed sixth in the hammer at the North Florida Invite (48.84 M/160'3")...won the hammer (47.46 M/155'8") and was second in the discus at the W&L Carnival...indoors, finished 10th in the weight throw (15.01 M/49'3") and 12th in the shot put at the conference meet...shot put mark of 12.05 M/39'6 1/2" was a personal best...had a seasonal best in the weight at the VMI Winter Relays, a winning toss of 15.35 M/50'4"...third in the weight at the YSU Icebreaker, and fourth at the YSU Invitational just over a month later...held the rank of S-5 Staff Sergeant in the VMI Corps of Cadets.
2011-12: Placed eighth in the discus at the Big South Outdoor meet, with a seasonal best mark of 41.57 meters (136'4")...also finished 11th in the hammer at that event...finished fourth in the hammer at the Fred Hardy Invitational (Richmond), with a personal best mark of 47.63 meters (156'3")...also broke the 47-meter plateau at Duke and George Mason (Patriot Open)...won the hammer at the VMI/W&L Carnival...was third in the discus at that event, and also threw the javelin for the first time in her college career...indoors, season was highlighted by a seventh-place finish in the weight throw (15.91 M/52'2"), thanks to a personal best mark...also was third in the shot and won the weight at the VMI Collegiate Invitational, with the shot put effort marking a new PR.
2010-11: Claimed the discus title at the 2011 Big South Outdoor Championships...did it with a school record throw of 44.02 meters (144'5"), surpassing the mark previously held by former Keydet standout Mildred Cooper...the win earned Lemon Big South Freshman of the Year honors...she was the first Keydet to win that award...qualified for the ECAC Championships, where she finished 17th...was second in the discus at the HPU Vertklasse Meet (41.95 M)...also second at the VMI/W&L Carnival, where she was second in the discus, second in the shot put (seasonal best - 11.66 M) and sixth in the hammer throw...seasonal best in the hammer came at High Point, where she finished sixth with a 43.26 M toss...was 15th in the conference in the weight throw during the indoor season...had a best effort of 14.04 M in that event, recorded at Feb. 18's Virginia Tech Challenge.
High School/Personal: Finished 2010 season as #2 discus thrower in Virginia...two-time district, region and state finalist in the discus and the shot...Deputy Commander Air Force Junior ROTC...may seek commission in Marine Corps...grandfather Jim played baseball for Washington Senators and Minnesota Twins, and is a member of the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame.
