2011-12: Posted a 200 free personal best in season opener...finished third in the 100 back versus Limestone.

2011 CCSA Championships: Swam on varsity record 200 medley relay...also competed in the 50 free, 100 back and 200 back.

2010-11: Swam on the team’s best 400 free relay, recorded Jan. 29 at Pfeiffer...finished fourth in her first individual action of the year, the 100 back at the Liberty/MSM tri-meet.

2010 CCSA Championships: Saw action in seven events, including four relays...had a high individual position of 30th in the 200 back, where she set a new VMI freshman record, which she did in the 100 back as well.

2009-10: Established a new rat record in the 100 back, swimming a 1:11.37 at St. Peter’s…Swam on four school-record relays, including the 200 free, 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley…Also turned in VMI’s top time of the season in the 200 back…Competed in every event.

Personal: Daughter of Yu-Hui Chen and Hut-Duan Chao…Competed on the swim and volleyball teams for Concordia Middle…Placed fifth in the 100 meter backstroke in Taiwan’s college race…VMI Institute Honor Student…Biology major.
