2020-21:  Earned a spot on the 2020-21 America East Conference Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team ... earned multiple top five finishes in her sophomore year…started the season with a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM, and third in 100 fly vs WVU Tech…notched a win in the 200 fly and third in 100 fly at WVU Tech…placed in the top five in the 200 fly and 200 breaststroke vs SVU…finished fifth in the 100 breaststroke, third in 200 breaststroke and fifth in 100 fly vs Mt. St. Mary’s…clocked top six finishes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke with a fifth place in 100 fly vs UMBC…posted season-best times in the 200 IM and 100 fly, including a 16^th place finish in 200 fly at the American East Championships. 

2019-20: Swam in freestyle relay, IM, and breast as a freshman…placed seventh in both 800 freestyle relay and 400 medley relay, and also competed in 200 IM, 100 and 200 breast while at the American East Championships.

Before VMI: Swam for the Marlins of Raleigh Club Team … a top eight finisher … swims for the Glen Allen Gators in the summer … member of the Principal’s and Dean’s List.

Personal Bests for Hein for Raleigh (short course yards): 100 yard free (1:11.91), 100 yd. breast (1:23.23), 50 yd. free (31.54), 100 yd. back (1:26.25), 110 yd. fly (1:30.29), 200 yd. breast (2:58.57), 200 yd. free (2:37.97), 200 yd. IM (2:54.51).

Personal: The daughter of Sean and Michelle Hein … plans to major in international studies.
