Connor Kinkema joined the VMI swimming and diving coaching staff in the fall of 2022.
He recently graduated from Roanoke College where he studied physics and exercise science. As a member of the Roanoke College swim team he served as a team captain. During his time at Roanoke College Connor was a nine-time ODAC Champion and set three ODAC Conference records in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 400 IM. He was Roanoke College swimming’s first CSCAA Scholar All American and was the team’s first NCAA All American in the 200 breaststroke. Additionally, Connor is a professional triathlete specializing in the Ironman 70.3 distance.
