Cayce Friesenhahn

Cayce Friesenhahn joined the Keydet coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in Fall 2024.

An elite swimmer growing up, Friesenhahn was ranked in the top-25 nationally in multiple events as an age grouper, with a focus on distance freestyle and individual medleys. She was a North Carolina All-Star before relocating to Virginia, where she won an age group state title in the 400-meter freestyle and earned a Virginia Zone Team selection.

Friesenhahn shifted her focus to running, and ultimately, rowing at the University of Virginia, but returned to swimming to claim the US Masters 2-Mile Cable Swim National Championship in the 18-24 age group. She has coached at the developmental, age group, and high school levels in Georgia, Northern Virginia, and Mississippi.

She resides in Lexington with her husband, Kyle, and their wire fox terrier, Kozmo.
