2010: For the third straight season, earned Big South postseason honors as she was named All-Big South Second Team...firmly established herself as one of the best two-way midfielders in the conference...started all 20 games...notched two goals for the third straight year, one of which was a game-winner against Campbell...also scored Oct. 3 against UNC Asheville...will serve as a team captain for the second straight year.
2009: Continued to evolve into one of the best two-way midfielders in the Big South...named All-Big South Second Team...made 19 starts in 2009...posted two goals on the year, while also being a strong defensive player in the middle of the field...goals came against Liberty (10/26) and against UNC Asheville (10/4)...the Asheville goal was a game-winner, the second of her career...both of her game-winning goals have come in Big South action...will serve as one of the captains of the 2010 team, joining Angela Redmond in that role.
2008: Named to the Big South Conference All-Freshman Team…made 20 starts, playing primarily in the defensive midfield…scored goals against conference foes High Point (10/18), notching the game-winner, and Gardner-Webb (11/2), with each of the tallies assisted by her sister, Megan…took a season-high four shots against GWU…Played a major role in the team’s defensive prowess, helping set school records for shutouts (6) and goals against average (1.30)…ranked third on the team with 1,677 minutes played, despite missing one game.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Colonial Forge for coach Melissa Backus…playing as a forward and midfielder, scored six goals and eight assists for the Eagles…helped lead Colonial Forge to the State Quarterfinals as a junior…also competed for the McLean Premier-United club and for the Stafford Eagles, helping lead Stafford to the WAGS High School Division Championship...sister, Megan, was a four-year letterwinner for the VMI soccer team, graduating in 2009…Biology major.
