Biography

2024: Put up career-like numbers in his final season, going a perfect 3-0 on the mound in 21 appearances and a pair of starts…earned SoCon Pitcher of the Week after tossing 3.2 innings with four strikeouts against William & Mary…tossed a career-high 48 innings and 34 strikeouts…was one of three pitchers with a sub-6.00 ERA…his 21 pitching appearances were tied for most on the team.

2023 (Junior)
  • Had a 4.78 ERA in 32 innings pitched
  • His 25 relief appearances tied for sixth in the Southern Conference
  • Tossed 1 2/3 frames of scoreless relief 5/7 at The Citadel
  • Appeared in both ends of a SoCon DH vs. Samford on 4/29, allowing no earned runs over two innings
  • Threw a career-high three frames vs. SIUE on April 14, 2H, 0R, 1BB, 4Ks.
  • Threw 1 2/3 scoreless innings out of the bullpen at Virginia Tech 3/22, recording five outs while facing only four batters
  • Worked 2 1/3 innings of relief March 11 vs. Radford; 0 ER, 0 H, 0 BB, 2 Ks.
  • Threw scoreless innings at Miss. State on Feb. 17 and Feb. 19
2022: Threw in 14 games, working 16 innings with 13 strikeouts … worked 2.2 IP of scoreless relief at UNCG on 5/6, 2H, 1 BB, 5 K … threw 2 2/3 innings of one-hit relief, holding VCU scoreless on April 12 … tossed an inning at Samford on 4/9 and didn’t give up a run … threw a scoreless inning to close out an April 6 game vs. JMU.

2021: Worked six innings in six relief appearances as a true freshman.

Before VMI: A four-year letterman for Coach Morgan Spencer at South Lakes High School … was a cadet captain in Army JROTC, as well as playing ice hockey … played in the NOVA College League this summer striking out 15 in 12 Innings … 2017 WWBA All-Tournament Team, 2020 Perfect Game Preseason All-American and All Atlantic Region Team.
