Brigitta Hendren at TFRRS
2016-17: Ran on the school-record setting 4X4 relay that finished fifth at the SoCon outdoor meet...was also 15th in the open 800 at that meet...finished 23rd in the 800 at the indoor conference meet...made her cross country debut (and only appearance of the season) at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invite, where she placed 91st.
2015-16: Focused primarily on the 400-meters during her true freshman season...best time came at the Bucknell Team Challenge, where she finished 10th (1:01.06)...placed 11th at the Mountaineer Outdoor Open...indoors, ran on both the fourth-place DMR and fifth-place 4X4 squads at the conference championship...finished 11th in the open 400 at the HPU Team Challenge...ran an indoor seasonal best 1:01.47 in the 400 at the YSU National Invite.
High School/Personal: Two-time varsity team captain and 400-meter school record holder...two-time board award honoree...2012 team MVP...three-time academic all-state (2012-14)...Spanish Book Award and Business First Honor Student in 2015...brother Hardy is a former VMI wrestler from the class of 2015.
