Biography

2009: Had the top statistical season for a goalkeeper in VMI history...posted the best Goals Against Average (0.81), the top save percentage (89.3%) and the third-most total saves in the history (100) in the history of the program...after the season opener against George Mason, only gave up multiple goals once all year (Coastal Carolina, Oct. 10)...became the full-time keeper Oct. 18 versus Winthrop, and responded by posting a shutout...that was the fifth clean sheet of her career, also the top mark in the program...made a season-high 12 saves in tie with South Carolina State (11/1)...also had double-digit saves against Coastal Carolina in the first round of the Big South Tournament, a game the Keydets won on penalty kicks...had an official record of 5-5-3 during the year, giving her 11 career wins...that tied her with teammate Heidi Beemer for the most in school history...posted Big South wins over UNC Asheville, Winthrop, Liberty and Radford...earned her third letter...currently holds academic stars...will serve as one of the captains of the 2010 team, joining Sarah Strand in that role.

2008: Saw action in seven games, making six starts in goal…notched three shutouts in the six games she played all 90 minutes…recorded clean sheets against South Carolina State (9/12), Delaware State (9/28) and Richmond (10/26)…made a season-best 10 saves in VMI’s 1-0 win over Richmond…shut out Big South Champs Radford (10/8) in the second half of the teams’ regular season meeting…contributed to the team’s school-record 326-minute scoreless streak…played a key role in the VMI defense’s best season on record, setting new school records for shutouts (6) and goals-against-average (1.30)…ranked as a Company Corporal in the VMI Corps of Cadets…named to the Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll.

2007: Earned Big South Conference All-Freshman Team honors…saw a majority of the minutes between the pipes for VMI as a freshman, starting 18 contests…ranked second in the Big South with a 80.8% save percentage and 80 saves…saw action in three of VMI’s school-record four shutouts…helped the goalkeeping corps to what was the lowest team GAA in school history at the time (1.81)…made a season-high 13 saves in VMI’s first-ever postseason game, a 1-0 loss to top-seeded Coastal Carolina (11/8)…made 12 saves at High Point (10/14) in a 2-0 loss…earned wins against The Citadel (9/3), South Carolina State (9/9) and Winthrop (10/24)…named to the Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll.

High School: Four-year letter winner as a goalkeeper…team captain…won a State Championship in 2002…named Defensive MVP...played for Team America Premiere…member of the National Honor Society and Honor Roll...International Studies major.
