Jackson Betts at TFRRS

2017-18: One of two VMI freshmen to run in all six cross country races (Mazziotta)...served as VMI's #5 runner in three of the events...finished 49th at the SoCon Championships and 18th at JMU...lowered his 8K PR in three straight races at one point during the year...indoors, was 12th in the 800 at the indoor conference meet...ran on the DMR that finished 10th at the IC4A Championships...finished 18th in the 800 at the conference outdoor meet...ran on the fifth-place 4X4 at that event as well...was on the winning 4X8 squad at the Bucknell meet.

High School/Personal: Third in 800-meter state finals...runner-up in 4X800-meter relay...scholar-athlete...also two-year letterwinner in swimming...intends to major in international studies.
