2009-10: Was perhaps the most improved Keydet on the men's side...posted his first career All-Big South honor at the outdoor championships, finishing second in the shot put with a personal best mark of 15.94 meters...just missed scoring in the hammer, as he placed ninth for the second straight year...also went over 40 meters in the discus for the first time at the Big South Championships, posting a 41.02 M throw...would go on to set a new PR in the discus at late April's Liberty Twilight meet...Davis would also PR in the hammer at that meet, throwing the implement 51.17 meters to place sixth...was third in the shot put at April's UVA Invite...wrapped up his outdoor season by making his first career outdoor IC4A appearance (shot put)...during the indoor year, he also qualified for the IC4A's, finishing 21st in the shot...posted an indoor best in the shot at February's Akron Invitational, where he finished second with the 15.65 meter toss...finished fourth in the weight throw at that same event, thanks to his 16.75 M personal best heave...was a multiple event scorer at the Big South Championships, finishing seventh in the weight throw and fourth in the shot.
2008-09: Placed sixth in the weight throw and seventh in the shot put at the indoor Big South meet, helping the Keydets earn a second-place team finish...both marks were seasonal indoor bests, as Davis tossed the weight 16.22 M and hurled the shot 14.62 M...finished third in shot and second in the weight at the VMI Winter Relays...placed fourth in the hammer throw at the outdoor VMI/W&L Carnival, thanks to a 45.90 M toss...placed ninth in the hammer at April's UVA Invitational, tossing the implement 48.24 M...repeated that placing a week later at the outdoor conference meet, with virtually the same distance (48.21 M)...also tossed the shot an outdoor personal best distance of 14.48 M to place sixth at the conference meet.
2007-08: Part of impressive Keydet freshman throwing contingent...continued to improve throughout both indoor and outdoor seasons, posting personal bests at the tail end of each campaign...posted lifetime best in the weight throw at the Big South Indoor Championships, finishing ninth overall with his 15.03 M effort...finished in the top-15 at UVA's April meet, thanks to a 47.29 M effort...set new lifetime best in the hammer throw at the Big South Outdoor Championships, tossing the implement 49.10 M to finish eighth in a crowded field.
