Caleb Wisecarver enters his third season as the program’s jumps and multi-event coach following his hire in July of 2022.
As the jumps coach, he oversees events all of the jumping events for both the men’s and women’s teams in addition to coaching the multi-event athletes.

Wisecarver came to the Institute by way of Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida, where he served as head track and field coach for the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
In his two years as head coach, Wisecarver coached seven NAIA National qualifiers, five NAIA All-American awards, nine All-Conference awards, five Sun Conference Champions, and 18 All-Conference performances. He also helped his student-athletes break four school records that included the women's pole vault (Lauren Brown), the women's long jump (Jade Hines), the men's long jump (Garrett Palmer), and the men's 100-meter dash (Yeltsin Mora).
Wisecarver joined the Warriors after spending the previous three seasons as assistant track & field coach at UNC Pembroke.
At UNCP, Wisecarver coached 20 national qualifiers, five Peach Belt Conference Champions, two Mountain East Conference champions, 15 All-PBC outdoor performers, 11 All-MEC indoor performers, nine All-Southeastern Region indoor performers, and 10 All-Southeast Region outdoor performers.
Before his time at UNCP, Wisecarver was an assistant track & field coach at Brother Martin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Wisecarver is originally from Monroe, Louisiana, and attended Ouachita Christian High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a focus in exercise science from Louisiana at Lafayette (2016), where he was a pole vaulter on the track and field team.
